CycloSoft (COS-13) is a blend of cyclomethicone and dimethiconol. It consists of a 13 to 17% solution of an ultra-high viscosity dimethiconol in a blend of cyclosiloxanes. The fluid blend provides soft feel, spread ability and substantivity.Cyclomethicone evaporates readily without a residue or cooling sensation. It can be readily emulsified or combined with volatile silicone, mineral oil and cosmeticesters to provide a delivery vehicle for active ingredients such as sun screens, skincare products, hair conditioners, facial make-up. It is particularly useful as a hair conditioner in preventing split ends
